Parking was tight, and a lot of trash cluttered the hotel grounds, which was an eyesore when pulling up. The fiberglass tub in my room had a rough patch job, and it felt unsettling underfoot. Some areas of the carpets felt damp, which was not ideal for a good night's rest.

Honestly, I had a surprisingly decent experience with the newly updated room, which actually had some clean areas that didn’t match the grimy pictures online. The air conditioning was great, though one knob came off, which made us laugh in our desperation. Would I stay here again? Nope, not a chance!

The shower had great water pressure which made for a refreshing experience. The bed was surprisingly comfortable with plenty of pillows, giving it a 5-star feel. On the downside, the room had a tube TV instead of a flat-screen, which felt outdated. Some areas of the hotel could use a little sprucing up, particularly the carpets. Overall, I felt the room was clean, but a good deep clean wouldn't hurt. I noticed some areas in need of attention like minor repairs and maintenance. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would return, especially because of the unbeatable price.
